Exu Ojixé, the messenger god of the region sends their findings:

The fast beasts of metal have been growing - both in speed and in number. Their trail has become sturdier along the centre of Hardap, being paved with hard rock now. I see them bringing in food and hay from the North, and the domesticates on their circular hooves.

Before the trail was paved with stone, these metal beasts moved slowly, and we had no problem crossing over to either side. Now, however, if one of us animals are unlucky as to cross the path at a wrong time, the metal beasts will strike us dead. The animals that know better prefer not to cross. Our region is divided into two halves - east and west, this will fracture the habitats.

Furthermore, fewer farmers are planting crops in their fields, and have given them to domesticates. Our herbivores now have to look for alternative sources of food, as they can no longer take a few plants from the fields. The gods need to direct them to a food source, or they may perish.
